Introductions - Welcome to The Dundas Community!
A little bit about me...
A soon to be graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, NH, USA; I have worked in the Computer Science field for over twelve years, mostly in .NET and Visual Studio (since 1.1), and with Crystal Reports for the last five years. In my spare time, I like to pick up a good book and a strong cup of coffee. I also like to dabble gamming on XBox once in awhile, and have an interest in learning Apple's Swift programming language. As a new user to Dundas BI, I am excitied about all the advantages it has over Crystal Reports and its flexibility. Welcome to The Cube everyone!
I'm a Data Visualization Developer who has loved working with Dundas BI this past year, and am learning that it can tackle almost everything that we throw at it!
Kevin Hoffman. Business Intelligence Analyst living in Ireland. I think my son might be a millenial, but I'd have to ask him. I have a strong Cognos background with a touch of Business Objects and a smattering of nearly any database you can name.

We implement dashboards for the market research industry, so slightly different focus than BI. Having used Dundas Dashboard for the past few years, our company is now transitioning to Dundas BI.
Looking forward to exploring all the nooks and crannies of the product, and coming up with innovative ways to achieve fantastic results.
Really happy there's a community with whom to share questions, feedback and discussions

Hello Everyone,
My name is Towandra and I am an Applications Manager for a DoD Contractor. Within one of my roles, I work extensively with Cognos Business Intelligence to provide end-users front-end access and visibility to obtain the data needed to facilitate their day to day duties. I am fairly new to Dundas BI. As I gain more knowledge and become more involved in understanding it's process, I do find that it has a great world of possibility just waiting to be explored and unveiled. This community is definitely a must have and I am pleased to know that I have direct access to a range of knowledge and experienced Dundas users who are willing to help by sharing their tips, tricks, and how-to's.
I've been doing data visualizations and BI since about 1992 when I worked at a Nuclear power plant. Most of that time I've been a heavy user of spreadsheets, Exclusively Excel since the 2003 version. Pivot tables and Power Pivot have been my constant companion since 2009. For the past five years I've been working with SQL Server doing ETL with SSIS, reporting via stored procedures for SSRS, and creating visualizations in Power Pivot (on Sharepoint) and Datazen. Dundas is an amazing tool that is helping me to consolidate about half of our new work into one tool. I'm hoping that we can move more and more of our processes and reports into one tool while expanding the access and options for our users throughout the company.
Welcome to The Cube, Colin!
I think it's safe to say you've learned a thing or two about data visualizations and business intelligence in your career, and I'm looking forward to learning of your experiences!
BI customer here from TX... and i'm interested that Farrah is allowed to take part in challenges here. Isn't that something along the lines of nepotistic!?!? :)
I have been in technology for over 20 years and with my current company for 14 years tomorrow. My company uses DundasBI to create rich data visualizations, but I personally am far more involved in data architecture and analysis. I hope to learn a lot more about how I can use Dundas to analyze and visualize the massive amount of data I have at my disposal.
