If your dashboards are using a lot of filter interactions, you may want to consider configuring your visualizations to highlight (show selected) data points upon click, and not only upon the default hover.
This may help users confirm which value was clicked on when the filter interaction was triggered - Here’s a short clip demonstrating this:
To set this up, simply go to the look properties of your visualization, and tick the Click To Select Points checkbox:
