[TIP 59] Accessing Scripts Directly from the Layers Panel

If your dashboard contains scripts, a quick way to access those would be by:


1. Opening the layers panel,
2. Expanding the layers and then the controls that the expander is showing (indicating there is a script setup for those, and
3. Finally double clicking the script, which will open the script editor directly


This way, you don't have to select the control and find the script under the different actions available

Is there any way to search for specific text within all the scripts on a dashboard?

Hey David,


At the moment, there is no built-in functionality that would allow you to search through the scripts. However, it is possible to do the search in the application database, if you feel comfortable doing that.


We're creating a feature request for this, and will make sure you're added to it!
