Have you noticed that sometimes there are little icons on your Data Cubes? What do they even mean?!
These icons actually give you a clue about how the data is being stored. Take a look at these two images below, for example.
The first image is showing that your cube is being warehoused, and the second being built in-memory, meaning that your data might not be the most recent, as the data might change after the next time the data is scheduled to refresh.
If you do not see one of these icons, the Data Cube is real-time, and your data is the most recent:
