Setting up emails using Office 365 exchange email

How to setup Dundas BI to email (for example scheduled reports) via Office 365 exchange email?

Setting up Dundas BI to use Office 365 exchange email for your emails provider is no different than setting other emails providers in Dundas BI. In order to set the configurations for sending emails from Dundas BI, you will need to select Admin from the menu screen, then in the Admin menu select Setup and then Config. Under the Application Configuration screen, you can pick Email from the Category dropdown list, and check the Show Advanced Settings option.


This will open up the Application Configuration screen. From here you can pick Email from the Category dropdown list, and check the Show Advanced Settings option. From here you can refer to this section about Email Settings from the View or Modify Configuration Settings article on our Support Site. This will explain what each Setting means and what each of those Setting’s values can be used for, so that you can set up your email configuration the way that you would like. Please note that you will require using an office 365 exchange license for the email you are setting. Once you have made your changes to the Email Settings you can then test these changes by selecting System Health from the Admin menu, and clicking Test Email Settings:
