Sometimes the dashboard/reporting experience you are looking to provide is just the ability to search a large dataset and get specific results. Here is an example where the user can be prompted to select a set of filtering options before any data is loaded onto the dashboard. Additionally, this concept works very well with text-based search, which I covered in a previous video.
