Is there a way, with Dundas, to create data narratives/storytelling? I want to be able to tell a story, in words, with the data and not always rely on visuals.

In the example you’ve provided (“Last week, there were $5,000 added sales…”), you would take advantage of the Data Label data visualization and apply a state or series of states to fit your requirements. Once the states are created, you would then update the state styles for each state to display the sentences you’d want to see.
Which means that a Metric Set that starts out like this:
