Notifications with attachments

Hello, I’ve just got email notifications sending by unchecking the ‘attachments’ box. If I do have it checked, the job doesn’t look like it finishes. The duration keeps going up until the next scheduled time (5 minute intervals). But then I’ll see a message about “x jobs failed in the last 24 hours” and if I view the job details I do see errors for when the attachments are turned on, but the message is just “Abnormal job termination detected”.

Any ideas as to what’s going on there? I am able to export the PDF manually in about 15 seconds, which is what I was hoping would be attached to the email.

Awesome Richard - all is good now? What changed?
Do you still need any aid?

I haven’t gotten a PDF to work, so that seems to be the problematic format for me.
I’m also in contact with support to provide more details like error logs, so hopefully we can sort it out.

Hi Richard - support is certainly the way to go for something like this as PDF exporting should simply work without any intervention. There is likely something conflicting on your setup since Dundas BI uses Google’s Chromium to perform the export. If this software is failing for some reason, it could be the cause but the support team is better suited than i am to help you solve this.
