low vision users / screen readers / accessibility

Hi there Dundas users - I have a background in accessibility, so designing by dashboards in Dundas, I can’t help wondering if the tool tip hovers are readable by a screen reader, and if anyone is using voice overs / screen readers / screen readers to access Dundas and what your success with these is.

I know that Dundas has some great documentation around color blindness but I am curious how it would work with Windows accessiblity features (which I’m going to test out) and other Read & Write
software and jaws.

I know that these kind of softwares have different levels of success on websites and have certain road blocks that I’d imagine would be similar with Dundas, but in my experience really testing them out is the only way to know for sure.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks!

Hi Heather, I totally agree with you on the documentation for color blindness. As a color-blinded person, it really gives me a good feeling when I was reading it.

The Dundas BI chatbot is currently text only, however there is support for any web screen readers to enable audio functionality. All functionality is out-of-the-box, however, we also offer the ability for customers to further extend or even replace our machine learning models with their own utilizing our open APIs.
