How to make filter to work differently for different widgets

Hi Team
I have a requirement where I need same filter to behave differently for different visualization.
I have VIZ_1 and VIZ_2 and Brand Filter with four levels (Brand , Sub brand ,Product and Family )
I also have a clear all script which resets the filter values to ALL.
Now I want the VIZ_1 to work normally as per the filter selection.
However … my VIZ_2 should only work for the selected values (total 7 values to be precise) of Family (leaf level of Brand filter)
For all the other values it should show BLANK.
NOTE : VIZ_2 should also work for Brand , Sub Brand and Product in case they correspond to any of the 7 values of the Family.

I’m not completely clear of your requirements. However, we have had many cases where the user changed the one visible filter on the dashboard and there was a script that changed many other filters behind the scenes.
