How do I add count labels to a stacked bar chart?

I currently have a stacked bar chart and I'm trying to add counts to each of the bars (as shown in the example below). The bars show the total $ amount of deals in each sales stage, and I'd like to also display the deal count on the same graph. Does anyone know if this is possible in dundas, and if so, how I'd be able to achieve that? Thanks!Image title


This is possible by adding a count measure and referring to it in the data point label. Here are the general steps:

  • Open Data Analysis Panel of your stacked bar chart and add a Count Measure.
  • On the Main tab of the Properties panel, click the Count measure. Uncheck the Visible checkbox on the Main tab to hide this measure from the visualization.
  • Go back to the Main tab of the Properties panel and select the main measure of your data visualization.
  • On the Text tab of the Properties panel, create a new Data Point Label and use the Count measure placeholder. For example: C: [Count Measure].
