Grouped Stacked Bar Chart?

I’m trying to create a bar chart that shows one measure stacked by one hierarchy and grouped by another. I would like the group to be clustered close together, and there to be space between each cluster. I have tried to add the hierarchies to the Horizontal Axis, the Series Grouping, and the Side by Side Position areas, but not getting exactly what I want. I have also player around with the Gap Width and Series Overlap settings to no avail.

I’m sure there has to be a simple way to do this, but I cannot figure it out!
Thanks

Example from the internet of what I’m trying to do:

Hi @molly.loughran - i created a video for you where I build that chart you posted. I didn’t have exactly your data but the data I used should still give you an idea of how to create this.

@jeff

Thanks so much for making this! Do you happen to have a link to a video version or something a little bit clearer? It’s really hard for me to make out some of the controls you are using with the gif format, even when I download it.
To make my question a bit more complicated, what happens if the number and names of the series you have in the cluster is dynamic? In the video, I believe you added a new series for each bar in a cluster (again it’s a bit hard to see), but how would that work (or would it work) if that was based on the categories in a hierarchy?

In my use case, I would like to show months along the x-axis, and within each month have 1-5 bars in the cluster based on the categories present which would change based on the user’s filtering.
Using a geographical example: if the user selected North America they would have 3 bars per month, one for each country. If they chose Europe, they would have maybe 10. These could change over time based on the what countries we have data for in a given year. Does that make sense? Is it possible?

Sadly, think link won’t last forever and the cube won’t let me upload a larger file.
