Hi
When leaving a metric set, I sometimes get the message asking me if I want to leave without saving. I then need to click ‘cancel’ and go back and wait for it to save.
On a dashboard, clicking view will force it to save. Is there a similar way of forcing a metric set to save? Adding it to a dashboard will do it, but that’s not worth the hassle.

Yes I been pestered by this as well.
Maybe consider disabling the auto-save outright? There is an advanced option in the config called Disable Auto-Save which will give you a save button instead.
Autosave is a lifesaver!
The amount of times something’s gone bang and the dashboard is saved up to a few seconds before - if not for autosave it would have been a disaster.
Maybe a FR for a save button as well as autosave? Or maybe a ‘save now’ option when attempting to leave the page?
I see where you’re coming from with this but i doubt it will be a popular request as we’re already plagued with ‘too many buttons and options’ in the toolbar. As always, if you feel strongly about this, do open a feature request with support. Maybe if you can recommend a way to help without adding any additional ‘clutter’ it will have a better chance.

Maybe just have a ‘save now’ option in the ‘would you like to leave the page’ alert.
