Dynamic Hierarchy and Dates

I want to use 2 different dates interchangeable with Dynamic Hierarchy and I’m running into an issue in the viz. When I select the default, it works as expected.

When I select the second date, it adds columns for Year and Month in addition to the Day column I want.

I have tried setting the parameter level to Day for both hierarchies, I have tried setting a custom level for date in the properties. Am I missing something in my set up?

Yes, I see the same behavior as well. However, can you try using a Level filter > connect it to the Dynamic Hierarchy > set to level Day and then do the same? You can change the level to Year or Month or maybe hide the level filter. Does it work as expected then?
