Data Cube Data Preview shows data, Metric set returns no data

Hi All. I’ve created a data cube (PSQL backend) for a table. The “Data Preview” area of the Data Cube editor shows the data as expected. However, when I select “Add to New Metric Set”, the metric set is empty with a warning “NoSelectionParameter” I’ve not seen this before, and I’m at a loss on how to resolve it. Any ideas?

Hi Ryan,

This message appears only if a parameter has no selection or possibly an invalid one which after processing becomes no selection. Does the cube have any public parameter?

I didn’t create any parameters. Usually, I just create a Data Cube, and then the Add to New Metric Set button creates a metric set that contains all the rows.

Does the cube contain any parameter? Does recreating the cube afresh make any difference? If not and the problem still persists, can you please email support@dundas.com with details? We might need to dig deeper.
