It is often necessary to control the user experience when exporting a dashboard or report such that the content in the export differs from what the user would see when viewing live. Some examples of differing content from view to export might be removing an unwanted navigation system or self-service options. You might also decide to export regulatory information, such as the date of export or display current parameter information in a specific way that wouldn’t typically appear when viewing the content online.
