Creating two y-axis

Hi,

I’ve tried to find documentation on how to create two y-axis in Dundas, but cannot find anything on it. I would like to have the left hand axis show weight and the right hand show cost. How do I link the data to each axis? Once linked, how do I chance one (weight) to be a bar chart and the other (cost) to be a line?

Thanks,

Claudia

Well how about that, I could not either.

If you look at this page https://www.dundas.com/Support/learning/documentation/data-visualizations/using-chart-properties at section 5 it has a picture and this is where the four axis properties are.

The top and right axis are not set.

Also you want to review https://www.dundas.com/Support/learning/documentation/data-visualizations/setting-up-the-visualization because in the metric set designer you can tell it what measure to use for what axis, second picture in section 3.2

this video doe snot mention axis specifically but show you how to get around the metric set settings

If you have added weight and cost as 2 measures then it is simple to do.

Go into the chart properties, and select one of the series under ‘data point series’ in the main panel.

You can then select the vertical axis from the dropdown. You can select ‘new left’ or ‘new right’ which will create a new axis.
In the same properties, you can select ‘chart type’, and set one to ‘bar’ and the other to ‘line’
