Creating a triangle diagram in Dundas

Hi,

I am looking to create a triangle based on the Waste Hierarchy https://www.google.com/search?q=waste+hierarchy&rlz=1C5CHFA_enGB798GB798&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiSo7u_qJDgAhVys3EKHdJYBAAQ_AUIDigB&biw=1440&bih=767#imgrc=gtl6TodGN9tJCM: in Dundas.

I am unable to find a suitable Diagram in the standard Data Visualisations tab, but was wondering if there is another way to create a triangle (e.g. scripting?).

I assumed it was not possible, but my colleague found this visualisation after doing some research -(deleted the link because it flagged as being malicious web site) - so I thought I would ask.

Thanks!

Claudia

Hi Claudia

I’m thinking that what you need is a funnel chart.

Have a look at this link https://www.dundas.com/support/learning/documentation/data-visualizations/how-to/creating-a-funnel-chart and hopefully that will be what you need.

Good luck

The link you have for the Pyramid looks like the old Dundas Dashboard product to me. it is a post from 2012.

I wonder if they will give the new Dundas that Visual some time soon.

@david.glickman suggestion would be the first one to try. If you are open to scripting you can of course insert any 3rd party JavaScript based chart such as this one: http://bl.ocks.org/ronakrrb/73e9204a66e2a9c1fee8

The steps to insert 3rd party visualizations are detailed under: https://www.dundas.com/support/developer/samples/integration/insert-scripted-third-party-web-content

Just a warning the link to dashboards for business came up as a malicious web site in our scan.
I have to have my laptop cleaned now.
any one that clicked on it might want to have theirs scanned too.

So sorry about that James! I’ve deleted the link now - hopefully it hasn’t caused too much damage.

Help desk is super scanning it. It is taking a long time. What reported it was an Azure security scan that monitors our web traffic. Why it just wasn’t blocked is beyond me. It could have been one of the advertisements on the site.
No worries  it looked like a harmless site to me too.

No Viruses found, thought I let you know.
