Chart data label background

Is there any way to set a coloured background on chart data labels?


I can't find an option to do so.

At the moment, there is no way to do that. I added you as a submitter for an existing feature request that includes this.

Thanks. This is quite a basic requirement for us as we use it a lot to denote significance.

Please also add a feature request for a border on the data label.

It's already part of the same feature. The moment the "box" is there, you should be able to style it any way you want.
