One of the things suggested to me by Support was to do some stress testing on my dashboards.
Anyone doing this and care to share your preferred tool?

We have not done this yet. I'm eager to hear of the preferred tools, as well.
would also love to hear any options, if say tools like LoadRunner or any open source or DIY solutions exist.
Never done this either
I prefer to use Visual Studio coded web tests for this sort of testing. First I record the web test which gives me the different web, and REST API requests that are sent to the server. Then I convert the web test to a coded web test which I can modify if needed, so I can login different users, have different sessions, send different variations of the data requests, etc. Then I use a Visual Studio Load test and use the coded web tests with it. It allows you to simulate different test mixes, browsers, network speeds, etc.
There is no automated stress testing in place for us either.
One of our groups did have a trial of HP UFT/QTP. From the demo HP provided, some of its functionalities seem very handy.
For me i just kept refreshing the dashboard and see how slow it gets
Never done stress test!

Sad cause I missed doing this via the challenge.
