Why would a filter list not be created/populated from a table visualization?

Hey there,

I have a visualization created which is just a basic table and I haven’t changed any setting really besides the look/layout of a default table visualization but for some reason. This one table of mine doesn’t actually populate a list of of available filter values as I’d normally expect. Any ideas why this is, what I could check etc?

Below is trying to filter off of a Job Title column, which you’ll see does have data but nothing gets populated when you expand the filter drop-down.

To expand on this, this table is generated from a cube which get getting a placeholder value from a click > filter interaction. However once the value of the place holder is set by a selecting something from the initial table why aren’t these filter drop-downs getting populated? If I “hard-code” a value instead of a placeholder these do populate.

Thanks all!

Hard to say without more information but i would immediately check to see if you have accidentally selected multiple targets for your filter that are perhaps incompatible. What is your data source?

I got a band-aid of a fix working for this.

Had to allow this to load without a Bridge Parameter being passed to it as that only happens when a click action occurs to pass over a GUID. Thanks anyways

or some how that filter got completely disconnected.
defiantly check what parameters it is connected to.
also go into the metric set panel and try filtering it there, does it have a list then it is something wrong with set up, if it is blank there then is there mis-configured hierarchy on that column?
if no to all that contact support.
