Name your parameters, the Dundas training talks a lot about it but I never appreciated the full importance of it until I had a dashboard with lots of parameters break and fixing it was a nightmare.

properly name the items that will be attached to your events, so you could search it on the layers tab.

When scripting, choosing the right point to implement the script is key if your focus is establishing security to filter out elements.
Use API to manage users and groups
when ever you want to link all the metrics sets with the filters expand the column and right click and select “Check similar” and all the metrics set will be connected to same filter
