Error when adding Time Dimension to Metric Set

Hi,

I’m getting the below error when trying to add a time dimension to a Metric Set. I created a Year Time Dimension and want to add a year over year analysis to a very simple metric set but get the below error. Any ideas?

Does the Data Cube that this built off of have a TimeDate column?
If so why not just make that Column a Time/Date Hierarchy that you need?

@james.davis has it - the period over period feature is only supported with a full time hierarchy. You can either replace the hierarchy in your data cube (if you’re using a data cube) or you can drag a time hierarchy on to the ‘Year’ field to replace it. Once it’s a full time hierarchy, you can use the feature.
