Clear PERSONALIZATION not working

I’ve testing this with a user and the CLEAR PERSONALIZATION is not working. It says it clears, but then going back the dashboard shows the last filter choices the user had selected.


This happens even if I have the user completely log out and login.

Using Dundas Version: 4.0.2.1008


I have verified that I can completely disable the user’s ability for personalization, but that is not what we want on a global scale.


Also, is there a way to disable personalization on a dashboard basis? I feel like that might be handy.

Please make sure that you did not change the default value when testing. The clear personalization could be working but the default value would not be cleared.


If this isn't the case, please submit a support ticket and I can follow up with a video meeting to investigate more.


The ability to disable personalization on a dashboard basis was introduced in version 5. If you decide to upgrade, you will find it in the main dashboard features section.
