Change the Default Value text on Drop-down Filters (Hierarchy Value Filters)

Hi there,

How can we change the Default Value text for a filter. Normally when you create Value-Hierarchy Filter the Default Value text is either “Default” or “All”. Previous BI Analysts were able to change that started text value to a custom text of “No Selection” or “None” but we’re not having any luck trying to figure out where that is set.

How it currently shows when creating new filters and connecting them to a placeholder parameter, column or bridge parameter.

How we want to be able to set some of our Filter to default to “None” or no selection. This would make it mandatory to make a selection before the dashboard would load any visualizations.

If you want to have “No Selection” or “none” if have to select the parameter in the parameters tab, check all and after uncheck all. This will give you the “none”. For the “No Selection” you have to check in the dashboard.
